![]() ![]() Its not fun to do so I have mostly avoided it. Haven’t even done the last two yet because I haven’t done any watermark yet. The leveling dungeons were fun to do once or twice. Nothing is really memorable in the quests outside of a few things. After that the newness had worn off and was replaced by repetitiveness. Leveling was fun up until about 30 or 40. New World in all honesty just wastes my time. I want to waste time in a game but I don’t want a game to waste my time. I just think it looks cool and I made this goal for myself just so that I could have something to do.Ī game that I have to force a goal on myself to play is not a game that’s fun. I don’t even really care about the armor. Then I have no idea what I am going to do. Mostly because I farm hemp all day to level armorsmithing so I can make my own void bent. The small amount of content they do have is mostly gated. ![]() Thats a pretty small amount of content in my opinion. Some of these have been down, too lagged, and or exploited. There is also invasions which are probably more PVE oriented but a lot of players don’t get the opportunity to do those even if they wanted to and from I see they fail most of the time. I don’t think that happens but I may just not notice it happening as much as it might be. I think AGS was banking on most people taking part in territory wars all the time. If you include from the PVP side of things… They were more fun pre-tedium patch.Įndless mindless harvesting for resources to raise all the trade skills. ![]() Some Elite zones that are so boring most people don’t even want to do them. They do the opposite XDĮverything just becomes an even bigger chore lel.įrom a PVE perspective, which I am mostly a PVE player, NW has launched with the smallest amount of content I have ever seen an MMO launch with.Ģ dungeons that most people really don’t have access to But it all feels somewhat like gaited to become a chore, and instead of heading in a direction to make the game more enjoyable. The dawn and sunset, the sound, the possibility to move at least a little (sadly not like Souls) is what makes this game enjoyable. While here everything feels more like a dread. It felt so good to level up, get some gear, find these new astounishing places. We didn’t mind to wait for 1h for a party, then run 30min and then play for 2-3h, because it felt sooo damn rewarding. Man in my days you could get PK’d at anytime, lose your whole inventory AND potentially lose a part of your mainequip you worked a freaking week forīut the difference is like. That’s why it’s funny when they say “omg 30% luck forPvP’ers” I still remember lying around waiting for rezzes for HOURS cause it was still better than dying, losing a freaking level, being undergeared again and then run the whole dangerous path a 2nd time ahahaīut games back then were like this. ![]()
